Interesesting Upgrade To Matrox Mini For Mac

My Matrox mini only works with MC 8.3.1 at half resolution. Once I click full resolution or 10-bit on the TV icon, it crashes the Matrox mini too. The Matrox driver 772 are for MC 8.3 and below not for MC 8.3.1. We'll have to wait until matrox releases another driver for MC 8.3.1. According to this doc https://www.telestream.net/wirecast/devices.htm#cameras apparently neither of these Thunderbolt capture devices are listed as fully 'supported' with OSX Sierra and WC 7.6. The BlackMagic is reported to work with El Capitan and WC 7.0; so has anybody gotten it to work with 7.6? and/or Sierra?

in the doc, the Matrox MX02 says 'N/A' for El Capitan, and its blank for Sierra. Scrolling down further, in regards to the MX02 Mini, it says it will work 'on Mac with AVFoundation integration' (What is this?) So has anybody been able to get the Matrox MX02 to work with a Mac and WC 7.6 recently?

Better yet, has anybody been able to get either of these to work with the new TouchBar MacBook Pro and Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter? or other adapter?)

I own both of these boxes, as well as a TouchBar (late 2016) MacBook Pro (which is Sierra only), but before i begin hours of testing and troubleshooting, i'd surely appreciate any time-saving advice! If i had to (but don't really want to), i could possibly revert to a 2015 MacBook Pro (for purposes of older OSX and onboard Thunderbolt 2).. So is it possible to get WC 7.6 working well with Yosemite OSX 10.10.5, and if so, would one or both of these devices possibly work?
